Why AST mechanical Seals?
AST manufactures a complete line of cartridge and component mechanical seals for process pumps. The AST70 single cartridge seal has become the standard for harsh applications. The AST80 dual cartridge seal incorporates liquid shear pumping to remove heat from the seal faces and can be operated with a pressurized barrier or non-pressurized buffer fluid system. All AST seals are field-rebuildable, giving pump users control over their schedule and budget.

Thermoseal
Why Thermoseal?
Sealex® joint sealant, specially processed, 100% pure PTFE on a roll, provides soft, highly compressible gasketing for longer life and trouble-free sealing. Its form-in-place versatility also cuts maintenance and storage costs. The high compressibility of Sealex® enables it to effectively fill flange imperfections for a tight, leak-free seal. Under pressure, it provides a wide, thin, ribbon-like seal. Unlike conventional PTFE which is prone to cold flow, Sealex® has good creep resistance and bolt torque retention properties.
PacFlange
Why PacFlange food-grade Bearing?
Developed for the food processing and production industry, PacFlange is designed to replace the conventional greased roller bearing thereby eliminating grease completely and providing a zero maintenance solution.
PacFlange consists of a food grade approved housing, a marine grade stainless steel sleeve (grub screwed to the shaft), which runs on a ThorPlas-White bush. This material is an engineered food grade thermoplastic that is self-lubricating with low friction and wear properties - specifically designed for FOOD and WATER handling environments.
