What is our Seal Rebuild Program?

At Industrial Seal and Pump, we are committed to increasing the reliability of your rotating equipment. We offer customized service, different from our competitors. We perform failure analysis on each seal we rebuild, partnering with our customers to solve pumping and seal issues to reduce unplanned maintenance. We rebuild our seals in-house and track performance in a seal database to help explore the potential root cause and offer solutions. Over time, this will help create a more efficient and reliable plant.

How it works

Step 1- Seal Audit

First, we will have a seal audit in order to create the seal database. This helps us understand the working conditions for every seal within your plant and use a data-driven approach to create a more reliable seal program.

Step 2- Disassemble, Inspect, Rebuild

When a seal comes out of commission, our team will disassemble the seal and inspect it. We will diagnose the mode of failure using our in-house expertise and decades of fluid processing expertise. Next, the parts are cleaned and polished to be reused. Finally, we rebuild the seal using the parts to create a seal just as good as it was out of the factory, but only a percentage of the original cost.

Step 3- Troubleshooting

Lastly, we will send the seal back to you and help identify any potential problems within your plant using a data-driven approach to improving your seal reliability.
